Advent Calendar Day 7- PEANUT BUTTER COOKIES
I, for one, think food is one of the best parts of Christmas. Not just eating it. But planning what foods will compliment each other perfectly, laughing together waiting for food to be done, and sharing the joy of a scrumptious treat with others. So, here is yet another cookie recipe courtesy of Whole Foods. But this time- IT IS GLUTEN FREE. And naturally :) Peanut butter cookies are the best… and don’t forget to add a Hershey Kiss to some!

For my (gluten-able, I am so jealous right now) friends…. a great gift idea. Even if it is a gift for yourself. The ultimate Christmas cookie- white chocolate macadamia! Enjoy :) I want to figure out how to properly make them gluten free (may be easy, we will see) so I can enjoy this loveliness as well!

December 2nd- Kimmay J Advent Calendar Treat →
Today I am layering an advent calendar inside an advent calendar. The treat for December 2nd is another one of my favorite things at the holidays- Christmas in Hershey! They have created their own virtual calendar that will give you sweet treats through December. So far it is a discount coupon and an opportunity to meet Santa and his reindeer. Enjoy :) I, for one, am a huge fan of their Christmas light display! (and chocolate… it always goes back to the chocolate…)
Like an advent calendar… every day I will share a treat until Christmas. Song, recipe, photo…. it will be a surprise! :) to start it off: my favorite version of my favorite Christmas tune. I love Harry Belafonte, but I love this one so much. It was my mother’s favorite Christmas song and I always think of her when I hear it, and often play it when I want to feel closer to her during the holiday season.
